In the wake of England’s Women’s Rugby World Cup triumph, the RFU launched a five-year action plan, “Every Rose: Our Time.” It aims to expand women’s participation to 100,000 players, boost funding, and capture the cultural moment. Winning titles is great - but turning them into infrastructure, support, and sustainable growth is what transforms a sport forever.

The plan’s ambition lies in shifting resources toward coaching, facilities, youth pathways, and revenue models less reliant on short-term spikes. It’s a signal to other sports: victory is a foundation, not a ceiling. For fans, it means more local access and deeper representation. For brands and media, it offers a pathway to join a long-term story - not just ride a victory wave.
